An Ongoing Gift is deducted from your paycheck each month, until you notify the payroll department to stop the payment. If you are paid bi-weekly, the monthly gift amount is deducted equally between paychecks. For months where there are three bi-weekly paychecks, the deduction will be taken on two of the three checks.
A Finite Gift is either deducted from a single paycheck, or, if you prefer, spread evenly over a specified amount of months. The deduction will stop when the total is reached.
It may take up to 6 weeks for the deduction to show up on your pay.
